For dogs with reliable recall that can be safely off-leash where you walk. The classic pull-down trigger on these clips stay latched in most cases, but it's possible for them to open unintentionally due to the trigger being so exposed.

If your heart skips a beat at the thought of your dog being off leash, upgrade your clips to high security. These auto-locking carabiners have a twist and push opening, and have double the break strength ( 900 lbs / 4 KN) compared to our standard clips. And they are light weight!
